Established in 2022, two university friends teamed-up in Bluche, Switzerland to create a one-of-one luxury brand that specialzed to the curated lifestyle they lived.

Ansonborough stands at the intersection of heritage & progressive ideologies, providing a community for those who believe fashion isn't just the clothes you have on, but the lifestyle you build every single day.

OUR STORY

In 2021, Thorben Hinkel & DJ Myer met eachother at one of the leading hospitality schools in the world. At the end of their first semester, they were tasked with an entrepreneurial capstone to create a luxury hospitality company of their choice and pitch it in front of a group of mock-investors. Thorben and DJ, alongside some other friends, decided to pursue the idea of a luxury cannabis lounge: STRATUS.

While this keen & novel idea was just part of a school project, Thorben and DJ quickly realized the friendship they formed, and the passion they shared for entrepreneurship.

After a year or so of developing their interests & hobbies as roomates, they decided it was time to start building a future of their own.

While the cannabis lounge seemed to be their starting point, they soon realized this was not where their truepassion lied. Instead, they took to action sports.

Originally a skatewear & hospitality company, Ansonborough was born into it's beta version. Crossing lines between luxury and skateboarding was the road, and ultimately shared a vision of opening a high-end skatepark & retail shop. After a year or so of developing this idea, it became clear that funding, permits, and overall-feasibility would prevent this dream from becoming a reality. However, Ansonborough lived on.

Slowly shifting month-by-month of the creators interests, DJ & Thorben finally decided it was time to make something out of nothing. And alas, a fashion brand was born - one that stood for Apres-Ski sessions, Country Club dinners, and stays in luxury hotels.

In 2024, DJ & Thorben moved to Los Angeles, CA. to further pursue their dream of building one of the most sought-after luxury brands in the game.
